At one time (recently) HP branding seemed headed in a refreshing new direction. Just take a look:http://techcrunch.com/2011/12/14/please-save-hp/

Too bad. We’ll have to wait and see what the new marketing regime trots out early next year with the much heralded “HP Experience” I can pretty much guarantee it won’t be nearly this interesting.
